In the Spring, when I take my Winter wheels off, I want to ditch my Goodyear runflats (17") and get non-runflats.

While handling is important, as long as it as least as good as the runflats (that shoudn't be too difficult) I will be fine. I want a tire that won't hyrdoplane (I hate this about the runflats), will have a decent tread life and offer a quiet ride.

Any suggestions?

Also, what can I sell my runflats (8K miles) for?

Now that I've seen and read a recent thread on this same subject and poked around TireRack, it seems the Yokohama ADVAN S.4. may be a good choice.

You can try the Falken Ze 912. It is very good against hydroplaning and it is a quiet tire. It also has an asymmetrical tread design for better rotation.

I love my Kuhmo ASTs. They are great in the rain. They are directional treads, so front to back swap staying on the same side of the MINI. They are very quiet and were reasonbly priced.
