Don't worry about my decisions, I've been through the whole offset battle with my past cars so I'm not going to buy something thats not going to fit. But trying things that might not work the first time and then adapting them to work is what creativity is all about. Maybe something this forum needs.

If you consider 17 lbs a piece heavy, then I guess so. They are 3 piece wheels.

How do you figure? If they are the real 3-piece super-lites then they weigh about 14 pounds which is pretty impressive for a 3 piece wheel. I have one-piece versions of those wheels on my car and they weigh 13 pounds

Those super-lites are on ebay. They were also on craiglist, he wanted $1200.00 before, i think now he wants $700

He's located in Portland, Oregon.

The only reason I didn't get them is because the offset. It's really hard to run dish wheels or low offset wheels on a MINI. The lowest I'd go is trying 30 offset with stretched rubber. (i think our stock offset is 48mm)

Goodluck to whoever buys them... I wanna see pics

Yeah I don't think they are that heavy. Here is the actual for sale thread.

sleekmini. The Work Emotion CR (bronze) was one of my choices when I was considering a set of custom wheels more than a year ago. Too bad that I did not want to spend too much, so did not go for it. Anyway, looks good.

17lbs is not heavy for a multipiece wheel, my 2-piece wheels are 17.1lbs and they are 7.5X17's so a 3-piece at that weight is on the money!!

Sorry missed it, I actually traded those wheels for my '81 Scirocco. A deal I couldn't pass up. But if I still had 'em you'd be the first person to get them.
