wow, that's pretty bad. ive been using TEIN HA's the last many years on my previous cars. had over 25k miles, no issues. drove the car like I stole it too in the canyons. sold the unit before it even needed an overhaul.

I've had Bilstein PSS9s on my BMW for 5 years. In addition to daily driving, they've done over 100 laps of the Nürburgring Nordschleife and Hockenheimring and never had a problem.

Mille Milglia 18x7.5s & Falken Ziex 215/35/ZR18

They're a bit too DS though....temped to get them powder coated a different colour...

Wow, outstanding!!
I really like the color, though. I wouldn't change it - personally.

The wheels look very familiar, too! Great style.

*Previouslly Posted - not Mille Milglia, but ASA*

Take care,
Leo.

no no..I think the colour is perfect too - but they match the car so closely, it looks strange...if you know what I mean...

I've seen these wheels on other colours, and they look even more sensational!

your wheels are nice! Sorta like OZ Superlegerras...I like your colour-coding

Hey xxTHIR13ENxx, I think this is the best looking Cooper I've seen yet!!!

Here's mine

My sig tells about wheels and tires, but I wanted to add, these are 17.6 lbs. and saved 10lbs. per corner (over s-lites with runflats)! And that's also comparing runflats with NO tread left on them to brand new Toyos.

Car immediately felt quicker, more responsive, rides MUCH better, stops better. I am thoroughly amazed at the difference lighter wheels make.

Cheers!

Hey thank you! Please, call me Leo. xxTHIR13ENxx is just too long. lol...

I love your ride, too! That's the color-combo I was going to get, but when dad was going to buy the car, I wanted to spend as little money on it as possible, that included NO packages, NO spoiler, NO fog-lights (even though he wanted those), and NO metalic paint, that would add $400, so I opted for choice B - chilli red. Everything else on the car was added by me after the years went by.

Now I know a lot of people will give me trouble about being a "daddy's child" and riding it for free, but here's the reason: dad got me the car for going to College, think of it as a graduation present from High School. I would go to College locally, about 25 miles away from my house, so I needed a way to get there. So we were thinking a Kia Rio or an Echo for 10K, but then I saw the MINIs next to a BMW dealer - dad was with me and we made a U-turn to take a look at them. That was it for us. So dad decided to "ok" the car for me, but I'd like him to pay as close to $10K as possible, so no options or anything. Total cost was $16,875.00 (I think, or close - including all taxes and what-not), and now I've put over $2,500.00 of my pocket in it - personalization!!

Take care,
Leo.

i paid about 17,000 cdn for my MCS, parents paid the rest... ive since put about 10k cdn into the car, all by myself! it pains me to see people consistently still saying how spoiled i am, but i dont care... i paid part for it... i did it so its my style.... i aint apologizing to anyone.... and i am thankful to my parents who are willing to spend that much on my car

No shame in that. Nothing wrong with parent's help when it's not squandered! Your car is sooooo tastefully done, it now looks like $30K+ easily! I'd say you showed alot of class and appreciation in how you've taken care of Dad's investment. He probably feels like it was money well spent.
Props to you!!!
