Thanks for the info. What about these puppies? Do you guys know of any MCS wearing a set of Weds Sports?
Super nice. I think they would look sick on my jet black.
If you guys know anyone with this wheels on let me know. Would love to see how they look.

I looked for them al over US, could not find any, as a matter of fact, if I am not mistaking, they are discontinued. I love those rims

Dare X4
FYI concerning the Dare X4 for those who want to know:
They're a bit more show than go; but despite being 18", they're lighter than the 17" S-spokes. For those who want exact weight, check out the wheels (sticky) thread on mini2.
Ariercetinberk: as far as I know, at least the 4x100 version was discontinued a while ago. You might be able to find the 5-hole version in the UK, though.
As for me, I acquired them last year through a mini2 group buy for a limited/final production run of about 30 sets. Only two sets went to North America: one to the US, one to an obsessive MINI owner in Canada (that'd be me). They are/were made by a company called Dare Motorsports in the UK, and I believe they are/were distributed by West Tuning.
Here are some photos of other peoples vehicles:

Phaedrus: thanks for the info, such a shame that they do not make the rims any more, sorry about that, I would have been a player for a set, it is the same design with 20" rims on BMW X5s.

Berk: Good observation. Perhaps it was named 'X4' for a reason
If you're interested, I could hunt down some of the participants from the X4 group buy in the mini2 forums -- perhaps you might find one willing to sell theirs, or even find a surplus set. If I recall correctly, West Tuning did have a couple left over at one point.
In the meantime, your car is gorgeous; those black (racinghart?) rims are sick and the hyper blue is breathtaking.

tesekkurler Sarp,
as a matter of fact those are Motegis, 17".
I would be interested in a set of X4s, the only thing bothers me is the fact that I am dropping the car 1.0" front and rear, so I dunno if it will clear without any rubbing issues. But, yeah, if we can find a nice set for a reasonable price, I will buy them, and keep these for track.

Got these from the Sube-Dude for my intermediate wet track tires. They are Rota Subzeros. 17x7.5x45 offset. Excelent wheel, a bit heavy for track at 16lbs, but they took hardly any weight at all to balance They are wrapped with Toyo RA1, 235/40s
Yes, some body work needed to fit these, but nothing real major.

What was done to fit them?
