It's funny. I posted on facebook if anyone could see the face on the Front headlight. No photoshop marks or anything. This is the original picture. If anyone wants to add me, Just search "Daniel Pohaku Osorno" on facebook. Maybe we could have a little Mini Cooper Drive somewhere. No Spam Intended.
Just got my wheels back from the fabrication shop here in D-Town. 17X7 Flik Arctic with custom 10% Flat Black powder coat (a bit more matted than usual, already noticing that it picks up dust like no other).
More pics to follow. RIght now, I am in the process of:
waiting for my tires to arrive
Making custom center caps
At any rate, it feels good to have a bit more personalization to the ride again!
I love the ride. The gap up front closed a bit more than this after I drove for a bit, so I am thinking that a bit of wheel gap is a small price to pay for this setup!
^ RJ, nice set-up, what size tire are you running?
Thanks Blue. I am running a 205/40-17 Kumho ASX. The tire is roughly the same diameter as the 205/50-15 iirc, which helps the gearing a bit. And to my surprise, those Flik Wheels are surprisingly light weight.
Someday, I will get some Works or something of that nature, but these wheels fit everything I wanted for the time being.
Very nice set of wheels! I had looked at those wheels when i was searching for mine, but didn't think they'd look good with my color scheme. These go perfectly.
I know these are BBS RS Knock Offs, But I must have these wheels. $600 + Free shipping! www.esmwheels.com
Too many downsides to knockoffs, so ive heard, plus they wont look nearly as good as a real set id say wait save money and find a real set you will actually love.. thats what im doing
