Local or not you have unique MINI wheels. Their optional. What's your story behind getting them.

R88 in silver
Style R88 6.5Jx16 - weighs 19.6 lbs or 8.9Kg Offset = +48mm

You can buy R88 still
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...tegoryID=75821
About $141.60 each
Or order them through your MINI parts dept using your club discount if you have one.

Nice picture library of MINI wheels-

I specced my car in Feb of 02 with Keith Polischuk at MINI of Peabody , having left a deposit at Northshore BMW the November before that. That earned me a tee shirt with the car with the number 172 on the "odometer"
I actually specced the car with these wheels and they were swapped out by the dealer at purchase . Since I was swapping out "new" wheels, they charged me $400 for the 4 R88's and $200 labor . I whined and whined about the service charge , but the dealership held fast because "you don't know how hard it is to change these run flats". That helped me a lot when at 20,000 miles I had to replace the(Dunlop s5000) run flats as I went with standard tires and have never looked back. I currently run Blizzaks in the winter and Potenza SO3 pole position in the summer, and yes, I carry a spare, jack and lug wrench with me .
