Searching for Japanese Equivalent

Is it correct that if I search for 17x7.5 rims for a 2002-2003 Civic Si then it will also work for a Mini Cooper?

I have a late year 2006 MCS JCW....

just look for a 4x100 56.1 center bore +40 to +45mm offset wheel.
