Which tires did you switch to?

 

I have a new set of 215/45ZR-17 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Loved these tires on my previous Mini, so looking forward to running them on my new one. Still need to get them mounted and balanced.

 

Tires are FREE. Must pick up.

 

If I pay for shipping and some of your time, would you consider shipping it?

 

I might consider that. Not sure how you would want to ship? UPS?

 

It looks like with UPS ground, you can just tape the tires together (bought tires from a store like that before).

I know it'll be a hassle hauling and taping too, so wouldn't mind reimbursing you for some of your time (valuable commodity these days!)

My work has a shipping account with UPS, so I think the rates are a bit discounted. We can compare rates though?

I have a UPS Store nearby and could tape them together in pairs, and give them your account number to get them shipped off to you.

Buy me a cup of Starbucks' Nitro Cold Brew and I can get this done.

 

Just wanted to share what I found out from UPS. The UPS store near your location indicated a shipping quote of $65 per tire to Wisconsin. I made direct contact with UPS and spoke with a customer service representative that quoted me $45 per tire to Wisconsin. I thought the UPS customer service representative stated there was a UPS customer service center in Lions head Massachusetts, but I must have misunderstood her as I could not find that city.

If I had a prepaid/preprinted UPS shipping labels and just dropped off the tires, there shouldn't be any discrepancies with shipping quotes, right? Never heard of Lionshead Mass...I wonder if they meant Marblehead, MA?

 

I can confirm on the tires in maybe 30 minutes (in a meeting).

 

I would hope not as I took the specs off of the tire rack site and entered it into my label creation. See my PM And give me a call if you have a moment.
