variant 1 ...

Some comments on V1s:

I like them. They are the model with linear springs/and helpers all around. Good compromise for a daily driver. I have about 25,000 miles and 7 track weekends on them and they are still performing wonderfully.

On 7" wide wheels you need an offset near 40 or so to clear the spring perch in the front ... I run 5mm spacers for 35 et.

The front rates are higher than the rear ... helps the ride quality and you can just use a larger rear sway bar to help rotate the car. (I use 22mm mini madness). I also run -2 camber all around (ireland fixed plates).

I assume with the adjustable dampening in the v2s and v3s you could fine tune the ride to be even more compliant on the street and stiffer on the track.

I've heard a lot of good comments on the v2s and v3s but don't have any first hand experience.

I'm fairly sure that KW doesn't make the V3 for our cars. At least not in mass. I'd also like to read some commentary about the KWs.

This is actually a response to a question you had in my thread regarding spring rates:

KWs website. Link should be to Mini specs.

Apparently, they do make the V3 for our cars. I also just emailed them asking what the V1 and V2 spring rates are and if they offer custom rates for those models. I'll report back.
