Lower Control Arm Torque specs?

I searched for it and couldn't find it. Bentley manual says 74 ft-lb for upper control arms -- same for lower? Thanks.

74!?? For the control arms? Somehow that doesn't sound right at all. As I remember it was closer to 41.
74 would be more like the trailing arm to bushing bolt. I don't have my book, but maybe you should double check that.

Page 330-16 in the Bentley...

Control arm to rear subframe and to trailing arm (M12 x 1.5) - 74 ft/lbs (100 Nm)

You want to torque them only after the car is on the ground and loaded normally.

41 is for the swaybar link to trailing arm, swaybar link to swaybar, wheel hub to trailing arm, rear strut upper mount to strut tower and a myriad of other stuff...

Thanks for clearing that up.

You also state "You want to torque them only after the car is on the ground and loaded normally." I still am unsure whay this would be any kind of issue on any suspension part with the exception of the rear trailing arm to bushing bolt.
But maybe I'm just thinking hiem joints with the trailing arms. Are you concerned about locking in the rubber trailing arm bushing and possibly having them preloaded when dropping the car? I know meb was always pushing this same thing. Thanks
