Suspension Texas Speedwerks Springs... launch!
Yes, I have camber plates hence, I took a BFH (Big ____ Hammer) to the wheel well this afternoon
I only had the small hammer yesterday
I feel better knowing that it's normal for the front to initially appear higher. That was the part that had me worried that I had somehow managed to screw the job up
My initial impressions of ride quality are definitely positive
Thanks for the help y'all

Check back in after you've put several hundred or a thousand miles on them, and give us your impressions then.
Cheers
Cody
We'll call our supplier tomorrow and I'll let you know when we can expect them...
The camber plate question is a loaded one - personally, I'm still running Ireland street/race plates and have never had an issue (have had 2 sets on my car, over 3.5 years and 30K+ miles). Some people have had issues with them, which was tied to a supplier issue - IE stands behind their product though. There are others that are fine choices, too.
We're currently working on our own plates - needless to say, they're unlike anything else out there... By the time we finish the R&D and rinse them out on the track, it'll likely be early 2008, though.
When do these come out? How will they work with the TSW springs and such? Details sir!!
Also, an update on these springs since I got them installed nearly 6 months ago.
The springs have seen nearly 10K worth of hard driving so far and so far so good. They porvide excellent feedback and a great ride. I run them on stock Shocks with an OMP lower front brace and an Alta 19mm rear swaybar, and I have to say, these are the real deal.
I plan on upgrading my tires here this coming week over Spring Break from my 175/65/15 contis to some 195/55/15 Kumhos, which I have heard great things about! With this combination, I am hoping that it will absolutely rockon the mountain passes!
Camber plates may help the performance of my car a bit, but I feel like the real mod I will install to make these springs shine will be the Koni Yellow sports shock (when the time comes...)
The ride is excellent, providing great feedback to the driver and really opening up the power of the mini, which is the handling. As a stock cooper, I have been able to keep up with my buddy's E30 M3 through the mountains (I have some experience behind the wheel
Overall, I am very pleased with my $200 investment.

All I can say is that you would absolutely love the TSW springs if you are looking for an excellent performer rather than the super drop. If you want a big drop, coilovers like the Cross or Megan Racing setups would be best. The lowest spring for our cars is the H&R (I think, correct me if I'm worng), but then they recommend rear control arms and aftermarket shocks, which make it an expensive venture (nearly 1,200 dollars installed)
So....
Texas Speedwerks Springs
OEM dampers
a good alignment
Rear Swaybar
Enough said!
