Rear Swaybar Install Materials

Hi,

I have the H&R 19mm rear swaybar and am having it installed on Friday. I bought the adjustable endlinks from Texas Speedwerks, but other then that, all I have is the bar.

Do I need anything else in order to have the bar installed?

The H&R 19mm rear bar comes with the larger bushings and does not need lubrication. You have all you need and should be good to go. If you've had your car for a while and have never made a suspension change like adding a sway bar you might want to start out with the lower (less stiff) settings for a little while until you get used to cornering with the reduction in oversteer. Then bump it up and enjoy the handling change! I added the 19mm H&R to both of our MINIs a year ago and have been very pleased with it on the streets, AX and track.

...you might want to get another set of endlinks for the front and while perofmoring the install, sit in the car so the links can be adjusted properly. Otherwise, just make'm the same length as stock and have fun.

Yea I was thinking that for the front, but I thought it too late. I'm going to hold off on the endlink and bar install for now - I have a few months before track season starts up again.

Thanks for the tips!
