Suspension front endlinks are they needed??
front endlinks are they needed??
i read somewhere that when you add coilovers or whatever that adjustable endlinks are necessary? why is that? im asking because im wondering if they are also needed for the front. i have ones for the rear because i bought the webb extreme bar and it comes with them. i just need to know if i now need front ones too. thanks
Did you lower your car?

If your buying coilovers and the Webb bar then performance in handling must be important to you. Eliminating any sway bar preload is very important to achieve a good handling car and that's why you would want to get the front droplinks.
Front droplinks a little tricky though as most do not come with high misalignment hiem joints so they can end up binding and bending. Meb introduced me to these and I think that they are something to really look into. http://www.powergridinc.com/swaybar.asp

This will sound cold...
but it's not ment to be. Before you go wild with the credit card, find a performance alighment shop in your area. Work with them to help get the car to do what you want. Also, get a book on handling to learn the concepts. If words like roll center don't mean anything to you, you will spend $ on things that won't work, or will make the car handle worse, and you won't really know why.
So lead with some learning. A book is much less than the cost of even end-links.
Matt
ps, I say this from hindsight learned the hard way. I had to pay for the parts!

well its to late now. so you might as well just tell me if i can use the stock ones for awhile. tell me a good book to read and i will get right on it. im always looking for more information, just sometimes dont know where to look.
and i dont buy parts with credit cards. thats not the way i do things. i wait till i actually have money that i save till i go get goodies. so the suspension stuff that i have bought are you telling me their bad? so far i have ready to put on my car megan coilovers, helix control arms, webb bar, and a m7 strut bar, o yeah new wheels and tires. let me know what you think i should do?
and i already have a performance alignment shop that im going to be going to. my appointment is actually on thursday so this is kinda urgent seeing that i have 2 and a half days to put this stuff on my car. i was told the shop was a specialty shop that works with high end cars so well see.
please let me know on this guys. thanks
