Suspension BC Racing Coilovers?
BC Racing Coilovers?
I was goofing around on Ebay and ran across this company, which offers a product for our cars: http://www.bcracing-na.com/
Anyone heard of these guys or have any experience with them? FWIW, the Ebay BIN price was $795 (+ $49.95 s/h!).

Notice that BC's website states they are manufacturers... Their product sure looks a LOT like the others out there... It could be they're making parts for everyone else (e.g. Nex, Megan, etc.) and have decided to market their own brand/products now... Shrug. Or, it could be that BC's getting their's made where everyone else is...
Has anyone tried these yet. I've searched around the forums and they seem to be quite popular with the subies/wrx and the evo crowd. Everyone does seem to believe that these are the fabricators for MR. If anyone has any additional info please let me know as they are taking best offers on the ebay auction now. Thanks for any additional help
they are the same tiawan or china manuf as a lot of other coilovers ont he market. meaning that they share the same original source, then the companies rebadge them. these include: bc, megan, apexi (believe it or not), DS (believe it or not), g4 racing, k-sport. i cant say for certain but maybe NEX and a few others.
coils i know for a fact are their own design: spax, bilstein, h&r, tein. there are others.
my understanding: basically you tell the manuf what color you want, spring rate, and piston length, then they make that in your color with all the mounting hardware on it. you can see that most all the above manufs share the same equipment.
the only one that really surprised me was DS, because i used to cheer the DS touring car on. i doubt they were running their own dampners

Thanks for the reply. I did do some more research and found that BC is actually the original source (manufacturer) they do the rebadging or as they say odm. The oem is BC Racing or Taiwan Borchuan. They have been in buisness for quite a few years from what I have found out. Looking over forums they say Apexi, Megan and Helix are made by them due to so many similarities, but who knows to what extent the list goes. I decided that I'd go ahead and try them out already placed the order and got them at a great price. Even though they have been around for awhile fabricating for others, the BC logo is new to consumers so I guess now is the time to buy. Thanks again, I'll try and post some pics when they arrive.

Did you run into any problems during the install? What damper adjustment setting do you have yours at and how is the ride?
i don't have BC coilovers, but i saw the first production units and was impressesd. three of my track junkie buddies now have them and are very happy. the "surgery" performed by the first person who reviewed them is not neccessary. there are a few install tips that i have if anyone would like them. i met the owner of BC Racing at Sebring in Feb. he wanted me to put on a set, but i wasn't interested in a change. he told me that they manufactured coilovers for many other companies. this is there attempt to enter the MINI market. these come w/ integral camber plates and appear to be a good value. check w/ LgEnf, mct, or Miniatic for their opinions....
