Suspension The best next step after H&K Springs
The best next step after H&K Springs
What's up everyone here. A friend gave me some H&K springs and I allredy have the M7 understrut system installed. If I put on these springs what are a few things I will need to lower it "RIGHT" and what price should I be looking at for everything? Also, say I just slap these springs on, what problems would I run intoThanks in advance for everyones expert advice.
do you mean H&R springs? H&K makes an variety of firearms..?
do you track the car often? You may consider upgrading shocks as well (~600 $). Other than that, you'll need an alignment, the price of which varies. Good job with the understrut system, that'll help. If you're like me, I would change out the rear swaybar when doing the springs, since you'll be down there anyway, kill two birds with one stone.

First thing, get an alignment.
Then, get a rear swaybar. It's a must for every MINI owners. It makes the car handle like a dream, and gets rid of the annoying understeer!
It really makes the car feel like a totally different thing... I got a 19mm Ultrik heavyduty one and I love it!
