Paging JCW Suspension Owners ...>>

So I had an alignment after the installation. After about 200 miles it seems that the front end has become "heavier". The steering wheel has become heavier.

Is this a normal suspension breaking in? or is it time to check the alignment.

I talked with the alignment shop and he said that this is the suspension settling in and I should look to a=have another alignment after 5,000 miles or so.

Has anyone experienced this.?

FWIW - I didn't even have mine realigned after install and all is good after 2k miles. I didn't notice a change in the steering feel afterwards, aside from more feedback, and tire wear seems even.

Heavier? I dont know what that means. After installation, the steering was far more sensitive to tramlining and following the way the road slopes but after 800 miles or so it just settled down fine.

Maybe check the steering pump? Or tire pressure? Seems like an odd symptom, certainly worth investigating - have you checked with the installer or just the alignment shop?
