Koni FSDs vs. Koni Yellows

I am going to make a Suspension mod pretty soon, probably within the next two months, to replace my JCW Suspension. My question is, do the FSDs handle just as well as the yellows? I think the yellows are adjustable right? Are the FSDs? I want a lower ride than the JCW which will be fairly easy to do with H-Sport Springs, but most of all I want a flat and balanced turn in, which will be helped with front and rear H-Sport Sways, and performance. Being, winter roads suck in Indiana, ride comfort is important, but I definetly would want to sacrifice it, if it hurts the performance.

Thanks

Mikey

It doesn't sound like the FSD's are for you.

The FSD's are non-adjustable. They are also are not intended for lowering applications.

They do ride really nicely (I love mine), but you have to accept the stock wheel gap.

The Koni tech support folks expressedly indicate that FSDs are NOT to be used on lowered MINIs. So yellows it is, I suppose.

I have the Yellows. They are adjustable for rebound only. They have a firm ride but take the bumps well and control lean nicely. I like them.

If you plan to drive the car in Indiana winters, IMHO you are crazy to lower it at all.

The car has less than 5 inches of ground clearance as supplied.

I've driven in Indiana when there was deeper snow than that on the roads, much less the driveways...
