Is anyone running FK coilovers on their MINI's? Had any issues? Any comments?

I had a set on my old GTI, and thought the quality and ride comfort was decent.

Mine were height adjustable only springs on top of unbranded konis.

Eurotuner magazine used FK coilovers on their project mini. I'll see if I can find the old issue with the review and scan it and post a pdf or something.

It looks like the places that carry these are selling the highsport version (non-dampening adjustable) for around $1,100, and the konigsport (dampening adjustable w/koni inserts for around $1,350.

Prices are pretty much inline with KWs Variant 1 and 2. For the price of the konigsport you are close to PSS9 territory and those have a number of great reviews.

It is a tough choice. If you are willing to spend $1,000 - $1,400 you have a number of coilover options, SPAX, PSS9s, KWs, Teins, FK, Konis, H&R, Megan, etc. If possible, try and ride or drive a car with some of these suspensions and see which you like.

Hopefully someone can give you first hand info on these FKs.

I will have to check out my eurotuner collection and see if i can find it. I remember them saying that they were a bit stiff when they did that track shootout between their teal mini and a red mini.
