Springs/Alignment question…

I just ordered m7 springs for my car which is actually in the factory birth canal right now. So I have yet to decide on what to do here… The idea was that I would just have my dealer put the springs on when the car comes in, and be done with it. The problem is they will recommend an alignment and I’m not sure I’ll need it. The problems I have with this – First, the cost…they are saying somewhere in the neighborhood of 700-800 bucks for everything. Secondly, I assume they would do an alignment right after the springs were put on… but I’m thinking this will pose a problem on a car that probably hasn’t settled yet? And also, from what I’ve read around here some cars didn’t even need an alignment after their springs were put on. So what I decided to do was to put them on myself.
And does anyone think I would actually need an alignment? … Or any recommendations for me? I really just want to save some bucks here…more bucks mean more mods! Cheers
