I got the s-techs on tonight. looks like roughly an inch drop. I only took it for a short spin to see if everything was bolted down. Pics to follow.

The instructions in the package say there is no settling, but I'm going to wait a few days and see what happens.

you never know who translated that manual.

S-techs are known to take a few weeks to settle. after it settles in though
the spring will seat after a quick spin around the block when you raise your
car the next time.

how does the ride feel?

For anyone buying TEIN springs.

Saw a warning out there on another site....apparently there are some counterfit TEIN products out there. here's an official comparision between
real and fake:

I running the TEIN S tech's on some 18 inch PIAA sport mesh wheels, and I have no rubbing or camber issues at all. I love these springs. For the rear, I get a one finger gap between the tire and the wheel well, and a 1.5 finger gap for the fronts! Let me know if you want some pics!

Wow, scarey. My father got them through one of the vendors here, so I think I'm OK. I certainly don't remember seeing a crappy sticker on the coils during the install.
