Wow Tough crowd.

It measures 2 3/8" from the splitter to the ground. 1 3/4" from the bottom of the part I have yet to trim off.

Don't plan on trimming that off either. It's a good early warning that the ground I want to cover is too high.

no no, not meant that way... just looked like Konky's belly ( ) was on the ground, while there's still some fresh air under your car

Nathan...that plastic air dam defeats the splitter's effectiveness...you want to speed airflow beneath the splitter for greater down force...

I understand the theory behind using the splitter, but at what speed does it really add anything. Is the tradeoff of increased down force at some speed thats socially unacceptable vs an early warning that the entire front is about to ripped off worth it.

Gnaster talking about "socially unacceptable"...I think you'll know when you see the groundhog laying on the road...

This is Texas son, groundhogs turn to chopped meat..it's that hard shell of the Armadillo that gets ya.

To bad I didn't take pics of the squirrel I hit the other day. His/Her head was wedged between the top of the splitter and the bumper cover. Still looking for a body.

I shall be haunted and chased by headless squirrels I fear. They shall taunt me at the side of the road.
