19mm vs. 22mm for mcsa

hey guys, I'm sure this has been talked about often but I'm wondering should i get a 19mm or 22mm rear sway.. i love the almost neutral feeling of the car now.. and i'm more of a twisty road driver than an autocrosser. also Alta vs H-sport.. I've heard good stuff on both.. which would you choose? as for oversteering, i used to drive a freaking camaro the oversteer happened at the end of the corner.. does the 22mm bar make oversteer at the beginning?

Talk to mdsbrain, he got the auto and an alta 22mm.

Its doubtful your car is neutral if stock. They all come with understeer built in.

22mm. 19mm is too small imho for the MCS.

I agree with Kenchan. Go for the bigger bar. I installed the ALTA 19mm and it leaves me wanting more. I should have put a bigger bar on. When I have time to tear apart the rear end to install one, I will put on the H sport bar rather than the ALTA. Nothing wrong with the ALTA.. my 19mm bar works fine with the expection of the size -- that's my fault though.

Also, do a search on NAM and you'll find tons of threads about installation as well as reviews. There are a bunch of smart folks on here with some really useful information.

Get the bigger bar and start it out in the loosest posistion. At least you can adjust in more tighness if you want which would not be the case with the 19mm.

Thanks for the plug Chows4us!

The 22mm swaybar was my 2nd mod (at about 500 miles ). On hard setting it created oversteer. On the soft setting it makes the car perfectly neutral. But I don't think this has much to do with the tranny unless you really factor in the extra weight up front.
