M7 spring / (??) Struts

Hello

I've purchased a set of m7 springs recently.
Knowing that my stock struts won't last forever if I pack them on.
So I've looked around here and found mostly H-sport + some sort of aftermarket strut infos. but not much on M7..

Do you guys have any suggestions?
also for a cheaper solution, will it be a good idea to trade m7 for h-sport and not install aftermarket struts?

Thanks guys.

Most of our customers have not found a need to switch out their struts . If you prefer to do that any of the struts you have seen working with other combinations would work just as well such as Koni etc. If you have any other questions feel free to give Peter a call at the shop. ( 1 562 712 3270 )

We refer to his garage as the shop as it is where he does most of his creative work . We are still trying to avoid the overhead of a store front but it is getting difficult to find space LOL.

If your car is not an '05 or '06, you'll definately need adjustable rear control arms to avoid wearing your rear tires really unevenly since the camber will be all out of whack. I got the H Sports CAs with my M7 springs [they are expensive, but really nice and strong], but you have many options. Cheapest is to look in the marketplace for some ones that are being unloaded. Assuming they have not been abused, they will be perfect for your needs. The other option [perhaps cheapest] is to pay someone for their stock '05 or great control arms. These have camber adjustments, standard [they don't look pretty and they're not light, but they work just fine].

Hope that helps.

IMO, keep the stock struts and go with the H-Sport all around. H-Sport (Hotchkis) is a well known company that produces very high quality products. Their springs, adjustable control arms, and sway bars are top notch!

I have had the H Sport Comp rear bar, control arms, and the M7 springs for about 750 miles now. The ride is nicer than in a similarly equipped car with H Sport springs- I know from experience. My handling is also freaking SWEET! So, I'm totally happy with my combo and recommend it _highly_. I have stock shocks, btw.

Hi Skuzy......

We have sold literally hundreds of sets of the M7 springs, and I have never
received a call from anyone with strut problems associated with our springs.
If you have any specific questions, please give me a call....

I'm outside of West Palm every few weeks. If you want to drive my car/see it, you're than welcome to. In fact, I'm heading down to N. Miami tomorrow. PM me.

M7 springs only drop the car around 1.3" which IMHO is just about perfect, if you expect more you will be disappointed. I've been using these springs for a few months now and I like the ride. I would never call these "soft" as some like to state but the ride is slightly more compliant over the factory springs (on my '05).

M7 springs, stock shocks for over 4K miles, no problems, beautiful ride. I just installed my 18" wheels this morning, non-runflats. Ride is even smoother, and quieter. Heard the wheels rub once after hitting a big bump, not a major rub, just a slight rub. Tire rack guys told me I may have to dremel down a bit of the liner but I don't anticipate it rubbing that often. I had a Civic that rubbed a little too, and I never experienced any major issues.
