Perhaps it has to do with the time needed to unbolt the extra bracing on the convertible?

The bracing actually does not interfere with the sway bar install AFAR. My impression was that the parts were different but I could be wrong. I will ask him about it, since I should be there next month.

Are the stock droplinks compatible? Would they prevent that noise?
