I have the Tein shocks/springs with the EDFC unit. Love it! You can dial it in for any condition on the fly. Beat having to get under the car and make changes - maybe I'm getting old or lazy - or both. On the softest setting its pretty close to stock but a bit firmer. I don't have it lowered as far as it would go, but I didnt want a weed wacker.

There is a group buy in progress:

Ya can get a set for $950.00 if ya act now. They also come with camber plates, looks like a great value for the $$$.

I'm getting some.

no.. I don't think so.. the tires I have on rite now is 195/50/15 which is too narrow and short.. I'll swich to 205/55/15 later.. that might close the gap a bit

Consider this, most people use either 205/45-17 or 215/45-17 and the 205's are 24.2" diam. the 215's are 24.6".
What you have is 22.7", so if you go with the 205/55-15 at least you'll be closer at 23.9".
If you can find a brand that you like in the 195/60-15, then you would have the same diameter as the OEM 17" tire at 24.2", that would be my choice but it's just my opinion and I'm sure we all have different reason as to why we do the things we do, some are concerned with weight, others is traction, some drag race, some road race etc...

Android993,

How did you get the rear EDFC motors to fit? I have the Tein coilovers on my 2004 IB/W MCS, I wanted to fit the EDFC but can't figuire out a way to fit the rear. Where did you take it to? It would be great to have the EDFC fitted. Thanks.

We drilled a hole - actually two one in the side panel after you take the liner out and then another from the inside of the compartment out to the wheel well. We put grommets in the holes and taped the line inside the wheel well. I had contacted Tein and they said do the same thing. We looked for another way but the "cup" where the coilover sits doesnt let you drill only one hole inside the body. I ripped the side panel out and carpet, but some of the body shots I saw in my book led me to believe that this was the only way. I dont think there was any structural element to where we drilled, so I'm not worried about it. If you need pics just tell me.
I also have it much higher than the finished hight. After the camber plates go in well take it down quite a bit.

do you have any pictures? how far from 'as low as you can go' are you? do you remember/did you measure how much thread was left for lowering?

thanks

Right now they are as high as they can go, but below stock hight. You can see how much thread is left on the above pics, a bunch to work it down. When the BBK and the splitter go on in a week or so, I'll bring it down to a better ride hight. Low but not to pull of Bots Dots on the road.

Some have asked where the EDFC cables came thru - here is two pics of each side. I didnt have any where they emerged from the chassie along the wheel well, but you just shoot a hole in the side there, tape it along the wheel well and viola! Your done. Routing the cables is fun, well almost fun, but everything comes in/out very easy.

The guys that did it for me was Dave & Jae at Mirage International. Did all of the alignment, corner balance, header install etc. Down here in San Diego off of Morena Blvd. I got the kit from Jonathan @ World One Performance - great service from both.
