Suspension swaping ???

I'm new to the mini stuff. I've been around vw's my whole life.
I dont have my mini yet.. but i want to learn as much as i can

Will the sport suspension (shocks and springs) from a 2003 s , fit on a 2005/2006 mini s that doesnt have the sport suspension package on it?

If it wont directly bolt up to it, what would i have to get/do to make it fit?

thanks
Melissa

It should just be a straight swap.

Hi Melissa,

as far as my knowledge is concerned, Sport Suspension Plus is std on 06 MCS as well as 05 MCS. I can't understand what you are trying to accomplish by swapping an 03 sus. with an 05. If you explain what you refer to i can try to help better.

One of the resaons i'm asking is beucase i swaping suspention with a friend. Im taking the Voglan suspention off their mini, they are selling their mini, and so i bought used stock sport suspension for their mini, they have a 2002.

another reason is that i'm couriuos to see what the limatations (if any) are there between the differnt years.

I really am confused, what I can say, hell, I really don't know what to say... Sorry....

PS: The suspension on the 05 MCS is SS Plus, would not bother to swap with an 02.
