Does anyone know of a good place to have work done on your MINI thats in the NY, NJ, CT area. Things like exhaust, brakes or shocks.

Actually, I can do it for you. I'm in the contemplating stages of opening a Mini Mod install shop. Small, but top quality.
If someone wants suspension work done, I would schedule it so you could go right to my alignment shop for a custom setup to your desire.

I have been wondering the same. I am almost convinced to drive 90miles to Helix although I don't know its quality work. I was pretty happy on the west coast (LA) with Steve's Auto Clinic service, but obviously that is now out of the question.
