H-S Control arm bushing replacement
Hi
After a self inspection on my car lastnight. I've found that my inner left lower H-Sport control arm's poly bushing is torn. (That's why my car feel a little too hairy in high speed right turn .) Anyone know if the Powerflex poly bushing will replace the one come with H-sport or do I need to get the replacement from H-sport? Can it be replaced ?
Thanks

Is it posible to use Delrin instead? What would be the pro and con?

I sheared a set of HS bushings in 1 and 1/2 track days that had maybe 500 street miles on them. HS did send me a free replacement set.
One other thing to look for. When tightening the bars, avoid placing any rotational stress on the bushings as that just adds to the premature wear of the HS bushings.
Delrin: Main down side is increased road noise. Also, I wonder how stiff links like a Heim joint or Delrin bushing handle hard, laterally-induced impacts. For example, while corning hard and hitting a bump or pothole? Rubber or poly will absord it. Derlin will absorb a little of that energy and a Heim joint will simply transmit it elsewhere. Will something else break with the stiffer joints?
