Suspension do you have this problem?

I didn't take it that way, no worries

Perhaps aspects of the car being front wheel drive have an impact as well, since meb has a Honda that does it too (although I'm not sure which Si it is). The M Coupe also does not do this over the same surface and I don't recall the SO's S2k doing it over similar surfaces and that had an x-brace as well. Anyway, I like to think of it as a cool 'Mini' thing that it happens so easily and looks even more toy like

Like Meb says...it's everything to do with a stiff sway bar. Disconnect the link and it will drop.

I can add a little more. Last time when I was having the traction problem I had them fairly stiff already.

My H&R springs with the Madness rear sway do that too. It happens every time time when I pull into the driveway at the gym I go to. My girlfriend insisted I was clipping the corner and hitting the curb (why don't you get out and watch the rear wheel lift? ).

HeeHee! Now that I have an Alta 22mm bar, when I jack mine up now from the front jack point, the rear tire comes off the ground before the front one does

Ha! I love that.

I have similar experiences in about 4 places around town, all curb cuts like that, and people who happen to be looking my way usually react somehow.
