to those of you with eibach springs - are these bouncy?

i was driving my mates audi a4 the other day which was fitted with Kingsprings, and frankly i did not enjoy the ride at all..it was to bouncy / stiff for my liking ( i was so glad to be back driving my mcs afterwards )

bouncy as in firm or bouncy as in undulations?

I think your friend did not choose his springs and struts well for street.
Eibach Prokits from my experience on other cars have been very
comfy considering the amount of drop.

 

i had the exact same concern before i got mine.. so far i love them!

the ride is just a tad more harsh than stock, but not bone breaking.. small bumps are unfelt unlike stock, and over most bumps the body feels more controlled.... its over large bumps that you are reminded you have prokit!

defenitely a good mod, so far i've taken bmwcc's autox just last weekend... so that does say something too!

 

Randomly swapping stronger springs onto stock shocks is always going to result in reduced ride quality - always.

The people around here that think otherwise just haven't experienced the same car with decent shocks.
