Hello,

I had H-Sports springs installed with the H-Sport bumpstops. The bumpstops are a lot shorter than the stocks and allow for more suspension travel. However I'm having a lot of rubbing problems now. I'm running 17" OZ Superleggras w/37mm offset on Yok ES100 215/45/17 tires. Tomorrow I'm going to try trimming the fender liners but am fearing that the extra inch of suspension travel is still going to cause problems. I may have to switch back to the original bump-stops, but was looking for any alternate suggestions. I haven't found anyone with a similar set-up to mine to compare notes with. I should have know better before switching the bump-stops having the 37mm offset wheel, but I didn't think it would be that different. I do run the car at the track 6 times a year on 225/50/15 OZ superleggras with R compunds (37mm offset as well, from my '02 MINI on stock suspension) so I am thinking about camber plates in the future

Any help is appreciated from you suspension/tire gurus.

Your tires are too big and your offset is too aggressive, of course you're going to rub. The bumpstops have nothing to do with it
