Steering wheel alignment?

I just noticed this week that my steering wheel tilts a little to the right while driving straight. It is just a small amount (the twelve-o-clock seam in the leather cover is about an inch to the right) but it drives me nuts now that I noticed it! Is this normal? Can it be fixed without costing an arm & a leg?

mine too; one of these days, I'm going to get under there and adjust the tie rods, equal and opposite amounts; probably 1/4 turn each.

Take it into a competent alignment shop and have them set the toe and center the steering wheel. We get these kinds of requests all day long and the Mini only has a toe set. Should run $70-80 at most shops (at least that's the going rate in the SF Bay Area)

Gravy job

Later

P.s. A few years back, Dodge had a problem w/ their fullsize pickups coming off the lots w/ bad alignment problems, and even more recently the 350Z had issues w/ their alignment angles from the factory, so it's no surprise when a newer car has an off-center strg. wheel. HTH.
