Camber plates?

I am planning to lower my 05 Cooper S with ST XA coilovers by about 1 inch. Wondering if front camber plates are actually needed or not? I got Hotchkiss rear control arms ordered but wondering if front plates are needed or not? I am not planning to track it, just spirited driving here and there. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Needed? No. Beneficial? Oh yes! Stock front camber is maybe -0.5°. If you can get front camber between -1.5° to -2.0° the car will handle so much better.
