S Suspension in a Justa

I have a 2013 Justa. What differences are there in the suspension between the S and the Justa?
Would it be possible to swap an S suspension set up into a Justa, and what would it take?

Also, looking at parts, I saw shocks for Standard suspension and Sport suspension. What are the differences between those, and how could I find out which I have? I assumed all Minis got the Sport Mode button.

Check realoem.com for part numbers to compare.

My 08 non-s has the sport package and is the same components as an S. Not every S has that sport package, so my car has a visually different stance than an average S has. Springs, Struts, Sway bars. Those areas are where you will equal or surpass a S.

All of the parts will physically bolt in either a base model or an S. From the factory the S has a different set of shocks and springs.

Most aftermarket parts will generally be superior to the S components (koni or Bilstein struts, for example). If you don't want to lower your car, stock springs are about the only options (aftermarket springs are stiffer, but generally drop the ride height).

So you could replace your justa suspension with S components. Or you can go aftermarket. There are plenty of threads here describing the benefits or issues with stock vs. aftermarket.

My opinion - swap out the rear sway bar, that will make a big difference on how your car responds. Not difficult to do, about $250 or so plus install. Then see what else you want to change.

Have fun,
Mike
