linear spring kw v2

linear Springs kw

Hi I’ve just fitted some hypercoil linear spring 450lb all round to my kw v2 all fitted fine, just the ride hight on the front is a little high the front springs are 7inch and rears are 6inch. I’ve wound the front right down and the rears are half the way down. Would it be ok to swap the front spring to the rear and rear to the front help much appreciate

yes, you can, not a problem at all, though I do think your spring rates are to high for unmodified KW's. I'd probably want to limit V2's to at most 350 lb/in.

I dunno, I run springs way higher than the v3 came with and I do not see ill effects. The spring holds the car up and resists some compression, the shock's only job is to slow change. The v2 are single adjustable rebound low speed. V3 are double and can adjust low speed compression and rebound separately.

both my damper adjusters are not maxxed out, I started at max damping I figured the springs would overpower the shock damping but I was wrong, it was too much even with the stiff springs I had to back out the damping on every setting both ends of the car
