Powerflex Transmission Insert Fit

Hey new to the car and the forum. I have a 2006 MCS JCW. I just installed a powerflex transmission insert and notices there is about a 1/8" gap between the insert and the bracket. I torqued everything to spec. Nothing looks, bent, broken or cracked. The insert fit fine into the bushing. Is this normal?

It's fine. I have the Poweflex Black series versions and it looked the same. The gap is to try and reduce the vibrations at idle. But once the gearbox gets loaded up than it will ride on the poly and provide the reduced drivetrain movement. Drive it and see what happens.
