Specs of new rims

I want to replace the 17" Crown Spoke rims my mini (2008 R56S) is wearing, with new ones. What specs should the new rims have, so that they will fit in without issues?

Thanx i know this helpful page, but i don't see how many bots are there or their size to know if they fit in any other wheel. (any idea if there is a way to know the sidewall thickness or width dimension of certain tires i have in mind?)
