Dinan Strut Tower Brace

This may be a dumb question, so please do not kill me

I was wondering if the Dinan strut tower brace for the MCS would fit my MC??

Im guessing it would unless the battery cover got in the way. What do you guys/gals think??

Here the pics from www.dinancars.com

Thanks
-Chris

I'm not sure about the Dinan specifically but others do require a modification of the battery cover.

2perCooper,

Just a reality check- what do you need a Dinan strut bar for in an MC?
Is it for looks? Certainly it is good looking. The MINI chassis is quite rigid for street use.

The Dinan bar ($248) will fit both MCS and MC but the MC will need a battery cover. It's listed officially as an MCS only upgrade. No weight listed.

$70 for the cover.

The front camber plates look interesting at $199 but maybe not adjustable.

At outmotoring.com they mention that the BMP strut bar is different for MC that is built before or after March 03 so you might check if the bar is different or if the battery cover is different.
