I am looking to replace my shocks all the way around and I'm curious whether I should go with a coilover setup (Bilstein B14) or the red KONI FSD with my stock springs. For context it is a 2013 MCS JCW and I live in Miami (Coral Gables). It's important to me that the ride be as comfortable as possible while maintaining handling characteristics. Appreciate the input.
At least for the first gens, most will say the Koni FSDs will give the best balance of performance and comfort. My experience with them confirms that sentiment. I imagine that'd be true for your 2013 too.
R56 front brake upgrade
Drilled/slotted discs
Ebc redstuff pads
SS lines
Bleed and refill
Megan Racing Coilovers (not liking them so far, may go back to my koni fsd’s)
Rear Sway Bar
From one sandal loving guy to another, my favorite picture is the third one down. TEVAs? I also love my FSDs. Would never replace them with anything else!
haha i see i caught my feet in there. yeah, i started wearing them maybe a year ago, and im now fully committed. i need some new colorways. someone should definitely make some membership cards 😂
btw i loved the fsd’s but i want to sit a bit lower, may try koni yellows and eibach springs
