Im using the Alta rear swaybar (2 way adjustable) and using the stiff
setting. I think for the M7's, perhaps the soft setting would work too.
Hey Kenchan...Yeah I don't have a rear swaybar yet. I'm trying to take it step -by-step because I don't wanna break the piggybank. I was looking into a swaybar, but I decided to put that aside for now. I think after the springs I may look into rear control arms just to get my Cooper's geometry back. After that then I'll probably look into a swaybar. What are your thoughts on getting one installed? My Cooper is actually just a daily commuter, not auto-x or any racing for that matter. Would it even make a noticeable difference?

Panaganiban- you will notice that your car will lean a bit more with the
aftermarket springs because it is softer initial rate than the linear
rate stock springs...but you should be able to go without the swaybar if
you're using your car for transportation purposes. I was driving
around without aftermarket swaybar for a couple of weeks and it felt
ok until I started going around the turns quickly and driving spritedly on
expressway speeds...my tail felt disconnected from the front.

I am using factory control arms and imho, a 1inch drop is fine. Here's
a pict of how much neg camber I have on the back. I don't plan to
change the control arm setting at this height. :smile:

not necessarily; it depends on the design of the spring. you could get the initial spring rate to be softer, or firmer, or equal to stock.

What are you, a challenger? I was talking about the H-Sport spring as
