I want to start focusing on suspension now. Probably a rear sway bar to start. I'm still on stock shocks so those will probably be next.

RSB is a good start then light wheels if you can still withstand the raked look and gap of stock suspension.

What year and model is your Mini?
You posted in the Gen 1 area so I suspect R50 (regular) or R53 (S) but cannot tell from post.
Springs or Rear Adj Sway Bar depending on your preference. I did springs first because I wanted a lower stance (I did not like the looks with the large wheel well to tire gap). Rear Sway Bar is better performance improvement for the dollar.
If doing springs might want to also consider IE Fixed Camber Plates since everything will be apart.

cut out the 2nd cat, resonator , put one aero turbo muffler in that spot and remove both mufflers in back, very deep, nice sound .

I have some megan euro street coilovers waiting for spring, and that will be installed with the 25.5 hollow RSB and adjustable trailing arms. I should notice a very large difference from stock suspension. (I need to do this, my roads are terrible and I need to fix my mushrooming anyways. and wanted to reduce some body roll. not looking for a slammed look)

Oh, gosh, sorry I posted in the wrong forum about my clubman s , But on my '02 r53 ( before I traded it in) I had a miltek exhaust, strut bar, rear sway bar, upgraded my cold air intake, upgraded my coil, and maybe 1 or 2 more things ..it's been so long that I've forgotten. I bought it when they were only allowing people who lived in San Francisco the option to purchase first because they were a SF mini dealer.

That was 12-13 yrs ago- go figure

@rckrzy1- with cutting out the 2nd cat back and removing both mufflers and having just 1- is that legal( street wise) my miltek on my old mini had a nice sound, but I think they just R&R 'Ed it.

They have a crazy law here that, if it's too loud, they'll give ha a ticket
