still have some shake / shimmy at "high speed"

had an alignment after my accident, got new LCA bushings (powerflex) and had the tires balanced.

this fixed my shimmy at normal speeds, but i still have some tiny wheel shake above 70, and gets way more noticeable at like 90.

only thing left i can think of is the steering column cracking, causing the shimmy...

can anyone think of anything else?

asked the mechanic to replace the tie rod ends (since i had them, and he was in there) but he said "they looked fine" and did not do it
beginning to wonder now...

I realize you already had them balanced but I would take them back and tell then you still have a vibration. Get them balanced again. Its not unusual for them to not get it 100% right the first time depending on the machine they're using.

An even better test would be to find someone willing to swap wheels with you for a bit to isolate the wheels/tires as either an issue or not.

...also have the wheels checked for being true... You may have have bent a wheel in the accident and are unaware of it.

Motor on!

Same problem - rebalancing fixed. I was 7 oz of weight off - I may have to rethink using a power washer on my wheels. I'm sure this played a part in my balance issues.
