Megan coilovers

Struts are bad and want to lower a little, so thinking about Megan coilovers but which ones? I have a 2005 S
1. Wheels/tires are 215/45/17
2. Want to drop about an inch or more without rubbing
3. How low can i go without getting adjustable control arms for the rear?
4. Do i need camber plates?
5. I already have strut defenders on the car.
6. Megan racing or Megan EZ coilovers?

Thanks

The front doesn't camber in as much as the rear from lowering. Of course you don't HAVE to get adj control arms if you don't mind wearing the inside of the tire out. I'd recommend rotating every 3500-5000 miles and once you see the inside worn down about half way thru the tire tread I'd have them flipped over on the same wheel, you can then rotate side to side.. Back when I bought mine the ones with the camber plates were only 100-150 more so I did, and I went ahead and bought some rear control arms since I went over an inch lower all around..

If your trying to get it back to stock spec most likely. That being said, LOTS of MINIs out there running just like that on lowering springs alone though.. ( I was one of them for a couple of years ) Just got to be on top of your tire maintance to help them last..

Thanks, I think I am going to go with the Megan EZ coilovers. They are priced right and is exactly what I need.
