Do you need camber links when lowering?

Just a quick question. I am just curious if you have to get adjustable camber links when lowering your mini in order to prevent uneven tire wear. I remeber I lovered a BMW 325 and ended up wearing the tires unevenly. Tire dealer said it was a camber issue. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

All depends on how low. Slamming the car...yes! Basic lowering springs...no (unless you want to). Personally, I didn't add the adj. camber links until I installed coilovers and I probably still didn't need them, but I did want the option to adjust them if necessary.

Ok Thanks! I am considering the NM Eng 1.20" lowered springs and didnt want to mess the pristine runflats on my 13 JCW Coupe

When I put on NM springs, I ended up with -1.8 camber in the rear. Tire wear was great, as I got 22,700 out of the stock runflats with a 100 tread wear on my roadster. I did get rear lower control arms but set them to stock length.
