Koni FSD Install help

Hi
I'm installing FSD's on my 2007 MCS and I'm having some difficulty installing the OEM bolt on top of the front strut. Does the OEM bolt fit? The koni thread pattern looks finer than the threads on my OEM sport shocks.

I took mine and a sway bar into the friendly local tire shop for installation. They had me in and out in a couple of hours so I can't say for sure but did you look in the packaging real good to see did KONI provide the appropriate hardware? I can't imagine that they wouldn't.

I bought them slightly used on this site and they weren't included. I'm sure they are inexpensive to purchase.

Install complete. Initial thoughts are MUCH better ride wrt smoothing out the bumps.

Did you figure out what was going on with the bolt? Did you encounter any other problems with the install? I have the factory sport suspension and I'm hoping the FSD will smooth out the harsh ride a little.

The front struts do require a different bolt than the stock one. Apparently, the new shocks come with a 12mm bolt with a 1.25 thread pitch. Install went fine other than that. Good luck with it!

The FSD's really transform the ride compared to the OEM Sport Suspension. What I don't like is the fact that the wheel gap is now slightly larger!

Thanks for the update! I just remounted the 18"s with a low profile tire so I'm now looking forward to installing the FSD's so my wife will be happy again.
