front sway bar

Hi I have a 2005 R53 I was looking at getting the hotchkis front sway bar. I already have the alta 22 mm rear sway bar. My question is will the front sway bar realy make that much of a difference. Is it worth spending $230 on or would my money be better spent elsewere. I was also looking at lowering the car as well which would be the better investment.

I wouldn't. It will just make the MINI corner a little flatter at the expense of increased understeer and wheel spin.

Spend the money on front camber plates instead. Fixed or adjustable. When you lower the car that would be the perfect time to install camber plates.
