KW1 Variant Coilover Question?

FYI, I did search for this and got impatient! So sorry if its been answered.
Will I need adjustable camber plates?
I'm already assuming I will need rear lower control arms but not up to par as far as what KW1's provide out of the box.

Thanks in advance NAM!

Yes you need camber plates, should you want them.

Thanks for the response. Most of the high end coilovers seem to come with the adjustable plates and I couldn't figure out if the KW1's came with.
Fixed or adjustable?

Looking for a mild drop. Not looking to slam it. Maybe 1.5".
I just want something high in quality w/o spending a few G's. I'm not saying all of the lesser value coils are cheap or garbage but KW seems to hv a very good rep.
I guess I'm into a quality drop with dependability being on the top of my list. I hope this makes sense.

Unless your looking for handling and you just want to lower it why run camber plates.

I'd recommend the IE fixed camber plates. Improves ride and handling, durable, and cheap too.

For most cars I'd say stick with stock top mounts if you don't really need them, but the stock top mounts are total junk on the first gen Mini.

So for a DD is it safe to go with KW1's, H-Sport LCA's, and 22mm H&R Anti Sway?
I would like to add the fixed camber plates and top mount at a later time of course but funds are limited for now.
Again, my goal is to close wheel gap and improve handling but also keep dependability on the brands/parts I choose.
Thanks

Sounds like a decent setup. Very close to mine, in fact. I have a 19mm H&R rear bar, and did spring for TSW camber plates. Might as well wait, get em, and install the whole lot at once. If you add camber plates later, you're gonna have to align it again. Do it once, do it right.
