can anyone identify these coilovers?

was looking for an economical way to have an adjustable suspension on my newly acquired mini (currently on Tein springs), was browsing craigslist and came across a guy selling these. Said there is no manufacturer markings on them so he is unsure of what brand except that they came off a 2005 mini. Thought maybe Megan but the colors don't look right. I'm new to Minis so don't have much experience with Mini aftermarket stuff.

Cheers,
Jason

Yeah i was bidding on coilovers that looked just like these on ebay and thought they were Megan racing to. But the shock body doesn't look like the megan racing coils. Looking on ebay they look more like cxracing coils than anything.

They aren't Megan's, Megan's have the adjustment **** on top that actually resembles a ****. they have some KSport Orange in there, but again, no the right adjustment **** on top....

Cx racing as far as I know doesn't have camber plates, just fixed upper strut mounts. What scares me about these... no known mileage, no bumpstops/dustboots, no brand or specs, unknown spring rates... this is the kind of deal I would steer clear of personally unless you just want to lower the car with no regard for any ride quality or any other aspect of handling.

After looking more closely at the CX racing ones, you are correct. No camber plates. And I don't believe they are BC's either because all the BC's Ive ever seen have been a gold color and these are a red/maroon color. Its a mystery. Better call unsolved mysteries
