Suspension Endlinks for Front and Rear
Endlinks for Front and Rear
Do I need adjustable front and rear endlinks on my V-Maxx COs? I know that i need them if I drop more than 1.5", but the question is do I need both front and rear or just front or just rear. One person told me that I do, but didn't specify if I need both or one or the other. Another person said that i need just the front. And another person said the links come with the kit, but it doesn't specify if they are adjustable (as I must have adjustable links) and if both front and rear come with the kit.
Who can help me out.

You only need them for the front. The stock end-links will bang into the control arms if you lower the car enough. VMaxx used to provide the front end-links when you purchased their coilovers. Better check first!
You should really get adjustable ones for the rear as well. The sway bar changes geometry when you lower the car, and without adjustable endlinks in the back, you won't be able to get the sway bar's arms closer to perpendicular with the rear control arm's motion, nor will you be able to remove any preload. Might as well do it right.
Ok, so I understand what you are saying about the front, but you just said that they will bang the control arms if I lower enough, and it is my understanding that controls arms are located in the rear, so then I would need rear links as well. Is that what you are saying?
What about Rear Lower Shock Bushings? According to the link below, it states that if you are moving from rear stock shocks, that I will have to add these otherwise, I will tear out the busings. Does this only apply if I was replace the stock shocks with aftermarket shocks or does it apply to COs as well. And if I need to do the rears does that mean I need to do the fronts as well? It only show two bushings, not sure if I need them will I have to get 4 for the front and 4 for the rear at the price for 2 at $42.95.
