Springs!

Ive done a search in the sticky and many reviews... but I would like opinions from others

So i picked up an 03 MCS here and Im planning out the suspension.. nothing crazy just daily driver with some spirited driving

back ground on me : I use to autox religiously (scca, many other local clubs) did the whole shabang.. traveled did the tours, divisionals.. etc
raced everything possible.. trailer queens,.. long story short lost my job... went back to school to pay for everything... sold everything race related and turned one of the race cars into a daily.. well not really
my daily has 2200lb 500/600lbs springs on double adjustable shocks... not as bad as you might think! LOL

so I know what "stiff" feels like and how it will ride

but I don't plan on racing this car... maybe every once in a while... but most of the time I can just jump into another car and just codrive

from what it looks like the mini does not have much travel to begin with stock... so alot of lowering springs lower about ~1inch or more... I don't want to be riding bumpstops

I kind of narrowed down my spring and shock choices
I am going to go Koni yellow ... from experience Koni for me is just the best choice... revalve service can be done by alot of shops... lifetime warranty etc

now for springs... I think I have narrowed down to 3 ... Tein H-tech, TSW, and the Swift springs.... all offer minimal drop but with upped spring rates and linear

ultimately I would just get swifts and call it a day... but I should add... im looking for a budget build, which is why the teins interest me... its about half the price of the swifts... only about ~80lbs softer

TSWs are cool from Way ... i plan on getting bunch of stuff from him.. but still more $$ than the teins

the swifts are the best being the spring with the most spring rate, but also the most $$$

I could also go the coilover route but I am not so interested in entry level coilovers

I already have a rear sway bar sitting in the garage, plan on getting the fixed camber plates, and going to buy some bushings... my next question what bushings are important to get... RTA, etc

sorry if this is a repeated thread, but When i search I can't seem to find direct comparisons of the mentioned...

thanks!!!

Forgot to mention to you...definitely get the front control arm bushing (prepressed in from Way for convenience). I'm tempted to try the RTA bushing inserts but haven't bothered yet.
